The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has decided this week the continuation of its support for the AFT Research Program. This new phase will incorporate in parallel the internationalization AFT program (AFT opening program for athletes of all nationalities engineering analysis in all countries included in the platform) and the test development in the context of biological passport of a module specific information technology, compatible with the ADAMS system, allowing management levies.
This decision is an important phase of what we've always wanted to do since 4 years to provide an international forum of expression for athletes volunteers who wish to engage actively in the anti-doping (AFT program) and to contribute in parallel to the installation (phase 1 = technical feasibility study) and development (module specific IT) of biological passport . The launch of the new international platform program AFT and the demonstration internally at the AMA of the beta version of the module specific management charges is scheduled for May 01, 2008. The AFT program thus will undergo a number of developments, to much more easily realizable for athletes (sms and mail only without printing paper) but also to an expansion of procedures carried out internally. |
