1)The Association Athletes For Transparency (AFT) have presented in April at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) office in Lausanne, in presence of the officials ADAMS (Anti-Doping Administration and Management System), version 1.0 of a specific software module which is a beta version for sampling management and analysis, with priority for the biological passport of the athlete. The principle of SAMM (Sampling and Analysis Management Module) is the optimal use of resources and cross in existing logistics represented by the International Federations / National Federation / Organisations National Anti-Doping and their respective networks of BCO (Blood Collection Officers) for doping control.
The three options for WADA in relation to the development and contracting of SAMM are: a) The development of a fully integrated module in ADAMS b) The development of a separate but compatible module with an interface with ADAMS c) The lack of interest in the development of this module Pending the decision of WADA (expected around April 30) developments on the international platform of "Programme AFT 2008" continues. In case of positive response from WADA, beta testing of SAMM could be made on the panel of voluntary athletes included in the program AFT. 2) The developments between the Research Program 2006-2007 and the "Program AFT 2008" will theoretically be operational from 01 May 2008. If the procedure is easier for athletes, most important developments come from the possibility of requesting analyses in all countries activated on the platform, in the type of analysis available (matrix and techniques used), in keeping sample for future analysis as well as the processing of data displayed. The "Programme AFT 2008" incorporates, in a unique way, all the most significant advances in the fight doping on the basis of an individual and voluntary choice for athletes. 3) The company "Alter Systems," joined us in the context of developments related to both the international platform "Programme AFT 2008" and SAMM. The governorship of the project was entrusted to Mr Rares Caresan under the direct direction of Mr Mihai Tanasoiu, founder of Alter Systems (http://www.altersystems.fr). 4) The company "Un océan d'Avance" also joined us in the development of sponsor research for athletes. The governance of this project was entrusted to Ms. Marie-Laure Boulot from Vomécourt (http://www.unoceandavance.com/). |
